Whether you’re looking for a unique venue for your upcoming birthday party, anniversary celebration, family reunion, church event, or corporate event, the Hi-Pointe Theatre can offer visitors an experience they won’t soon forget.

RENTAL RATES AND POLICIES
Before inquiring about a rental, please note:
Rentals are subject to availability and management approval. Plan at least 2+ months in advance and be flexible with dates until your booking is confirmed. Each rental includes ONE pre-event meeting with cinema management. Additional meetings may incur extra fees.
If screening copyrighted material, renters are responsible for obtaining the necessary licenses.
Rentals are in three-hour blocks, covering setup, screening, and teardown. All time spent in the theater, including setup and teardown, counts toward the rental period. Extra time must be booked in advance, and partial half-hours are not prorated.

ADDITIONAL FEES:
If additional labor is needed due to the size or complexity of the rental.
- Projectionist: $30/hour, 3-hour minimum
- Lobby/concessions staff: $30/person/hour, 3-hour minimum
Off-hours events require extra staff for lobby and concessions. Non-compliance with rental policies may lead to event cancellation or a $1,000 fee.
MUSIC LICENSING FEES:
Event organizers are responsible for reporting and paying music licensing fees to BMI, ASCAP, and SESAC if copyrighted music is played by a DJ or live musician.
SCHEDULING:
Rentals are subject to availability, and the schedule is often dependent on regularly scheduled movies and studio obligations. Rentals are not confirmed until a signed letter of agreement and a negotiated deposit has been received by The Hi-Pointe Theatre. PAYMENT IN FULL (based on Rental Rates) IS DUE TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE EVENT AND IS NON-REFUNDABLE WITHIN 10 DAYS OF THE EVENT DATE.
All exhibition media must be delivered to The Hi-Pointe Theatre at least (1) one week in advance of your rental.
FOOD:
Outside food and/or drinks are not allowed unless previously approved by The Hi-Pointe Theatre management. No outside alcohol is allowed. The concession stand will be open and staffed during events on an as needed basis.
TICKETING:
Ticketing can be handled by the renter or The Hi-Pointe Theatre.
The number of tickets sold (including any comp. tickets) cannot exceed the auditorium capacity. If tickets are sold by the renter, The Hi-Pointe Theatre cannot sell any portion of tickets through the box office.
If tickets are sold to the event, the terms of the rental (See Rental Rates above) default to negotiated auditorium rental vs. a 40% split of box office revenue. The Hi-Pointe Theatre receiving 40% of the total box office collected if above the initial quoted rental rate.
The Hi-Pointe Theatre can provide in-person and online ticketing for the rental. If tickets are sold through The Hi-Pointe Theatre’s box office, there will be a $1.00 charge per ticket on the total gross ticket sales to cover ticketing processing fees charged by our system providers. Box office reporting and proceeds will be processed within 5 business days upon completion of the event.
TECH TESTS:
The Hi-Pointe Theatre staff can meet ONCE with renters for a technical test; all additional meetings will require a $50 per hour fee, with a one-hour minimum fee to be charged. Any meetings require a minimum 72 hour notice.
CRUCIAL MARKETING AND PUBLICITY GUIDELINES:
Marketing and publicity materials cannot be distributed at Hi-Pointe unless prearranged with the Operations Director.
The Hi-Pointe logo cannot be used on any event materials, and the venue cannot be referenced as a presenter, co-presenter, host, or co-host.
Hi-Pointe Theatre should only be mentioned for location purposes, with “theatre” spelled with the “re” at the end.
FILM INDUSTRY & NONPROFIT/EDUCATION DISCOUNTS:
The Hi-Pointe Theatre would like to encourage the use of our space to spark community conversations and education.
